ASA 2016 Conference - General Session Panels Announced
End User Panel
Gavin Simmonds, General Manager, AJW Technique
Gilles Neron, Senior Director Business Development & Administration, Air Canada
Jude Bricker, SVP, Planning and COO, Allegiant Travel Company
Sonny Stern, Vice President Sales, MRO Services, Delta TechOps
In this session we'll explore the changing face of the supplier industry and the distributor’s role within it. This open discussion lead by Ken Herbert includes a broad range of end-users. Panelists will discuss their company's role in in the "aftermarket supply chain" and what differentiates them from the masses; how do they see themselves in the chain, how do they do things uniquely different, what changes have they seen, how have they reacted, what changes do they anticipate and most importantly how can the distributors support, partner and prosper going forward.
Supplier Panel
Caroline Vandedrinck, VP Americas, SR Technics
Irv Hoffman, President and CEO, Turbo Resources International
Robert Meara, Manager-Serviceable Material Solutions, UTC Aerospace Systems
Greg Norris, Business Development, Parker Hannifin Corporation, Parker Aerospace
Jason Reed, President, Component Solutions, GA Telesis
To complement our Airline Panel, this session, also lead by Ken Herbert, will address a rather unique period of time where, those once distinct lines between an end user and supplier are blurring. Is the End User the Airline or the Aftermarket company it contacts to supply them? Is the Aftermarket the Airline managing their own end-of-life consumption? Where and how does a supplier fit into this evolving market? Panelists will discuss how to erase those lines of separation, develop partnerships and redefine the supplier/end user relationship.
