ASA is a not-for-profit trade association, representing companies that buy and sell aircraft parts. ASA focuses on regulatory and legal matters in the U.S. and abroad, as well as quality assurance measures that affect the aviation parts supply industry. Member companies include distributors, suppliers, surplus sales organizations, repair stations, manufacturers, air carriers and other companies that provide a service to the aviation parts supply industry.
Membership is different from ASA's accreditation and certification services, which requires an onsite audit at the member facility. Membership does not validate or approve an organization's quality system. Information on ASA-100 accreditation or ISO/AS certification are available on the website.
